The Face of the Melbourne Football Club - completed

Junction Oval May - 2006: On one of those crisp Melbourne mornings all 44 players from the Melbourne fc posed for the camera so that a composite portrait of the team could be created.

Facing Australia view the image as one of those great collaborations where sport collides and combines with the arts - in a very positive manner. The image portrays One Team - One Face, encapsulating the very heart of Australian Rules. The image is a metaphor for what they do every weekend, they play as one.

Tuesday 6 June King George V Recreation Centre, The Rocks 9am- 7pm
Thursday 8 June University of Technology Sydney, Tower Building, Broadway Campus, Level 3 9am-4pm
City of Sydney residents from Alexandria, Beaconsfield, Camperdown, Centennial Park, Moore Park, Chippendale, Darlinghurst, Darlington, Elizabeth Bay, Erskinville, Everleigh, Glebe, Forest Lodge, Green Square, Haymarket, Kings Cross, Newtown, Paddington, Potts Point, Pyrmont, Redfern, Rosebery, Rushcutters Bay, Surrry Hills, Sydney, The Rocks, Millers Point, Dawes Point, Ultimo, Waterloo, Zetland and Wooloomooloo
of all ages are invited to participate.
